When the Ontario Federation of Agriculture was formed in 1936,11 was called. The Ontario Chamber of Agriculture. In 1940, the name was changed, but what has never chang- ed is the mandate of the organization itself. Paul Klopp of Varna, president of Huron County federation, says that the organization has made major im- provements in farming conditions in Ontario, -virtually every farm pro- gram in the past 50 years, he adds. has originated within the OFA The challenge for the future, he says, is to find a method that will get farmers an adequate return-foriheir produ. Gordon Hill of Varna, a former OFA president who has researched the history of the. They have been busy with renovations and renewing friendships. Swim prdgram The Stanley Township Recreation swim program is taking place from July 13 to 24.
