Wednesday, May n is the day residents of Exeter will have
a chance to prove they are in good physical condition or are will-
ing to get that way.
It's Participaction Challenge day and locals will be competing
against residents from Walkerton and Hanover in a challenge of

its flag flying in the other two towns.

counterparts in the other two towns. To kick off the publicity Shaw
was arrested Monday morning for being unfit.
He was handcuffed, taken to the police station and booked. His
stay was very short as he was put on probation and told to trim
and slim up by next Wednesday. If he permorms favourably to tests
prescribed by rec director Lynne Farquhar the charges will be
dropped.
The day will also be known as Sneaker Day and everyone is
being asked to walk to work. If you have to drive park at least a
block farther away from the job than usual.

ar will be congregating in the South Huron Rec Centre parking lot

making your way through an enlarged Big 0 drain tile and finishing
with a session with the skipping rope.
Royal Bank employees have challenged all other financial in-
stitutions to participate in the day of physical activity. It is hoped
each bank will follow the lead of the Royal and have an exercise

The four -wheelers have become
even more popular than the three-
wheelers because of their stability off
jumps and high power on straight-
aways. However, the three wheel
ATV racers can certainly give the
four wheelers a run for the money.
ATV racing is fun for the entire
family to watch. Local riders Terry
McGregor, Kippen and Curtis
McCone and Paul Farquhar of Clin-
ton will be out in full force to take on
heavy competitors on their home
track.
