Rooseboom, Zurich and Christian Pauquet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Pauquet, France, exchang- ed marriage vows at the Exeter Christian Reformed Church April 24, 1987. Mrs. Judy Zwiep, friend of Margaret, was the matron of honour, and the bridesmaids was her sister Sandra Rooseboom. Ed Rooseboom, brother of the bride, was Christian's best man. Out of town guests came from the Netherlands, France, U.S.A. Mexico and Alberta to celebrate this special occasion. Friends the couple made during a two year stay in Ghana, Africa were also present. The happy couple will reside in France near the city of Paris. They will leave Canada for France on May 2, 1987. The meeting was opened by singing the hymns "Showers of Blessing" and "Christ the Lord is risen today". Mrs. Ada Triebner offered prayer. The roll call was answered with scripture verses containing the word "showers". The minutes of the last meeting were read by Mrs. Jean Jol- ly. Mrs. Dorothy Cooper read a poem entitled "Secret" as a special number. Mrs. Phyllis Rennick gave the Sorority Will eethe afternoon. She centered her message on Luke 10 assist -talent Sharon Lynn was, hostess April 14 for Xi Gamma Nu's meeting. Janice's guest speaker was Rob Essery who show- ed slides of East and West Germany. His commentary on this was ex- cellent. Rob was on a Junior Farmer exchange last year for six weeks. Veronica Gryseels was co -hostess and was assisted by Sharon Lynn in serv- ing a delicious lunch. "Mary and Martha".
