Christian Reformed Church April
24, 1987. Mrs. Judy Zwiep, friend
of Margaret, was the matron of
honour, and the bridesmaids was
her sister Sandra Rooseboom. Ed
Rooseboom, brother of the bride,
was Christian's best man. Out of
town guests came from the
Netherlands, France, U.S.A.
Mexico and Alberta to celebrate
this special occasion. Friends the
couple made during a two year
stay in Ghana, Africa were also
present. The happy couple will
reside in France near the city of
Paris. They will leave Canada for
France on May 2, 1987.

Pentecostal
ladies meet
The April meeting of the Women's
Ministries of the Pentecostal Church
was held at the home of Miss Marion
Triebner with 14 people present.
The meeting was opened by singing
the hymns "Showers of Blessing" and
"Christ the Lord is risen today". Mrs.
Ada Triebner offered prayer.
The roll call was answered with
scripture verses containing the word
"showers". The minutes of the last
meeting were read by Mrs. Jean Jol-
ly. Mrs. Dorothy Cooper read a poem
entitled "Secret" as a special
number.
Mrs. Phyllis Rennick gave the
Sorority Will eethe afternoon. She
centered her message on Luke 10

Sharon Lynn was, hostess April 14
for Xi Gamma Nu's meeting. We
decided to go see "Chorus Line" May
7 and support a local talent instead of
going to London.
The Mother's Day Luncheon will be
held May 9 at The Thirsty Fox. May
19 will be installation of officers and
also closing day. It was decided to
combine them.
Janice Brock had the program on
"Eastern Europe". Janice's guest
speaker was Rob Essery who show-
ed slides of East and West Germany.
His commentary on this was ex-
cellent. Rob was on a Junior Farmer
exchange last year for six weeks.
Veronica Gryseels was co -hostess and
was assisted by Sharon Lynn in serv-
ing a delicious lunch.
"Mary and Martha". We should ask
God to stir us and to meditate on the

on purpose. We question why: --Jesus
wanted to show his power in a greater
way. John 12:1-11 Mary showed her
love and devotion by pouring the per-
fumed ointment over Jesus denoting
true worship. We then sang "Praise
God From Whom All Blessings
Flow".
The missionary reading was read
by Mrs. EllaTinney. The treasurer's
report was then read and monies
designated to blind schools. Also a let-
ter from head office. Prayer time
followed with each member
participating.
A time of fellowship followed and a
delicious lunch was served by Mrs.
Jean Jolly and Miss Marion Triebner.

the Food System", first released late
in 1985, is now available at locations
throughout Ontario.
The food system is Ontario's second
largest business providing jobs for
one of every five people in the
province.
The popular tlooklet features a look
at the exciting career possibilities
available to graduates of specialized
diploma programs offered by the On-
tario Ministry of Agriculture and
Food. Selected graduates share their
experiences on the job and while at
college. -
An updated list of all agriculture
and food diploma programs and the
colleges offering each program
makes a handy reference for students
and guidance counsellors. There's
also a thumbnail sketch about each
college, its programs and facilities.
Residential diploma programs are
available at the Colleges of
Agricultural Technology at Centralia,
Kemptville, New Liskeard,
Ridgetown, the University of Guelph
and in the French language at Alfred.
Home study courses leading to
diplomas in agriculture and hor-
ticulture can be taken through In-
dependent Study at the University of
Guelph.
