The various passages of scripture we have heard from actually remind us of Jesus' entry, into Jerusalem: in- deed his entry into the world: is a'type of 'Cinderella Story'. The three active participant -types in the Cinderella Story 1 will refer to are: Prince Charming, Cinderella, and the three -wicked step -sisters. Isaiah reminds us he thought of the remnant of Israel doing bondage in Babylon as a 'Cinderella' - God's peo- ple in need of liberation and -indeed deserving liberation. Paul reminds us as to whom would take the part. of the wicked step- sisters: the same people Isaiah was speaking of! We do not need to have it explained who plays the role of "Prince Charming"! Where does the Road to Jerusalem lead us? Whether we deserve the liberation Jesus offers we still receive it! Whether we are without sin or not Jesus still tells us we are forgiven! The Road to Jerusalem leads us to the love of God - giving us a very real taste of the Kingdom which is yet to come in this world!
