I mistakenly gave the days for the
Trim -A -Size classes last week as be-
ing on Monday and Wednesdays. The
sessions will be Wednesday evenings
only at 7 p.m. beginning April 22. For

Sunday with Carl and Hilda Payne of

Dr. and Mrs. Raymond Parr of Cor-

Wintario
Wintario is coming to Hensall! The
. Hensall and District Kinsmen are
sponsoring the event on Thursday of
HoIyWeek at U.C.
The congregation df Hensall United
Church met on Pal Sunday under.
the leadership of George Cowan, with -
Belva Fuss at the organ and Debbi-
piano.- 1 h 21 voice `junior choir
delighted the congregation: with the
topical number "Jerusalem" and
later in the service, the senior- choir=
sang "Hosanna! Blessed is He."
Cowan explained the events of Ilo-
ly Week to the children, showing them
pictures from a beautifully illustrated
Bible. The sermon was on "Blessed
is he who cometh in the name of the
Lord".
Our thoughts should dwell on the
events following Palm Sunday, and
like the miracle of the loaves and
fishes we should be able to do a lot
with what we have. The cleansing of
the leper reminds us to thank God for
our blessings and we should always
remember that the Sabbath was
made for man. Jesus can raise us

Hensall minor hockey awards night
Hensall Minor Hockey Association
held its annual awards night and pot
luck supper on Sunday evening at the
Arena with about 250 attending.
Following a bountiful feast, Master
of ceremonies Ron Hartman welcom
ed the players and their families to
the get-together, then introduced
treasurer Andy !manse who gave a
brief financial report, and assoc.
president Peter Groot who brought
the members upt-to-date on club
business.
Guest speakers for the evening
were London Knights' goalie Steve
Titus and team mate Wayne Smith.
Both young men entertained the
youngsters and parents with their
tales of life on a pro team.
Both stressed the value of a good
education. They said every young
hockey player dreams of playing with
the N.H.L. butt for most it will never
come true. Enjoy the game but make
a solid plan for your future, was their
advice. '
The guests stayed for the entire pro-
gram and gladly signed autographs.

evening was, of course, the presenta-

The cottage meeting booked for
April 20 has now been changed to
April 27 at 8 p.m. The May meeting
will be held on May 4 at the home of
Florence Hyde.
The meeting was closed with
prayer and Jan served a delicious

Coaches gave some very encouraging
advice to all -of -the -young players and
special awards were given out
Coaches of all five teams agreed
that the choices were very difficult
and that the kids are all -winners.
The novice team played a total of
35 games and had 25 wins, 9 losses and
I tie. They entered 3 tournaments and
emerged as "A" champs in Zurich,
-'A" runners-up in the league tourna-
ment and won 2 out of.3 games at a
"just for fun" tournament in Howick.
Ilensall Tykes played a total of 27
. games during the season and remain-
ed undefeated with 26 wins and one
tie. They were entered in two tour-
naments and were ,yarded "A"
championship trophies for both. Their
season's end stats are as follows:

The Ilensall P.C.W..• met at Jan
Baker's on Monday, April 6.•Thirteen
members answered the roll call with
"a sign of spring."
