Mr. Anderson staled that just as no one can swim that far, so no one can become a Christian unless they come to Jesus. Lauren Harrison came with a sign New Christian hanging on ,her, and carrying a big Bible. One after another different Christians came along with conflicting advice. First she was told she had to act sorrowful to be a concerned Christian. Next one told her she had to smile all the time. Another told her she looked confused. Last one told her to take off the sign, hide her Bible, and look like everyone else. Then a lady came along and hung_a sign on her that said Help. Nello Romagnoli, playing leis guitar, accompanied Mrs. Linnette Abbott as she joyfully sang The Best Thing I can Tell You. Puppets acted out the song about Black Bart. Next was a very self confi- dent looking voung man who acted like he was right in with the church life, but the truth tester rod had him say he did not swallow the life there. Last a couple talked of enjoying their heavy envolvement in church work. The truth rod revealed they were tired and bored with all the church work. Mrs. Abbott came in extolling the beauties of nature and the mountains. Equipped with a rope, she prepared to climb what appeared to be a good mountain. When she was climbing up the rope she slipped, and she cried out for help. A voice answered, saying he would get her down if she would trust Him. Realizing it was the Lord, she told Him she did trust Him. But when He told her to let go of the rope, she lost her trust. • April 5-- Doug Butler led the song service, Sunday, Rev. God pro- vides spiritual armor for Christians to put on to empower them to stand for God. Christians are admonished to put on the whole armor of God described in verses 14 to 18. The reason God com- mands Christians to put on His armor is for them to be able to stand against the strategy of the devil. The devil uses men to promote his evil strategies.
