to be a senior citizen to come and play

returned from Victoria, B.C. where
they visited with Betty's sister,
Marion and her husband Bill Leadley.

from a holiday in Florida.

vassers, Dorothy Blake, Mary Lee,
Nancy Hansen, Marilyn Dixon,
Elizabeth Conlin, Mrs. Knip and Mrs.
Devloeminck.
One of these canvassers will be at
your door during April so greet them

Rev. Shaule was born Jewell Shortt
in Meaford, Ontario, in 1948. Eldest
daughter of Ed and Jean Shortt. She
attended school in. Woodford and the
St. Vincent Gravel Road School. She
went to Meaford High and at the time
of her graduation, she went to work
briefly with the Bell Canada. She -
received her BAchelor of Arts from
the University of Guelph. After this,
she spent a short time in Nigeria
working with Crossroads Aftrica.
Upon her return to Canada, she

United Church
Mrs. McRoberts told the children's
story. A "once upon a time story" of
a town where everyone was happy
because of a bag of fuzzies - this bag
was passed around to anyone who
needed cheering up or comforting in
anywhay.
The children were told to be their
own bag of fuzzies by being kind,
helpful and thoughtful and this would
make the recipient feel very warm
and. blessed.
April 12, Palm Sunday we will have

Bryanston -club meets
The April meeting of the Bryanston
Club was held April 1 with an atten-
dance of 34.
Audrey McRoberts 'welcomed
everyone and opened with a poem.
The Miracles of Spring. Happy Birth-
day was sung to Carman Hodgins and
Fred Trudgeons.
Beth Buchanan reported on the
June and September bus trips. Dona-
tions were made to Bryanston Church
and the Paul Grose Fund. Carman
Hodgins chaired the program. A sing
song for Easter and spring was en-
joyed followed by two readings by
Betty Hodgins "Who Works" and "A
Farmer's Last Will and Testimony".

humorous jokes. Mrs. Edith McPher-
son showed slides of her- trip to
England and Scotland. _
Mrs. Jean Donley showed slides of
her suger bush, shanty and activities -
around maple syrup times.
Games were then enjoyed. Prizes
going to euchre high, Mary Rhame
and Clarence Davis; low, Gladys
Davis and Percy Rhame; lone hands;
Marjorie O'Neil. Crokinole, Hector
Robinson and Gote Winnerstrom;
Lost Heir, Victor and Ada Smith;
scrabble, Dorothy Trudgeon.
