She went to Meaford High and at the time of her graduation, she went to work briefly with the Bell Canada. She - received her BAchelor of Arts from the University of Guelph. After this, she spent a short time in Nigeria working with Crossroads Aftrica. Upon her return to Canada, she ty. Amen. United Church Mrs. McRoberts told the children's story. A "once upon a time story" of a town where everyone was happy because of a bag of fuzzies - this bag was passed around to anyone who needed cheering up or comforting in anywhay. The children were told to be their own bag of fuzzies by being kind, helpful and thoughtful and this would make the recipient feel very warm and. blessed. Audrey McRoberts 'welcomed everyone and opened with a poem. The Miracles of Spring. Happy Birth- day was sung to Carman Hodgins and Fred Trudgeons. Beth Buchanan reported on the June and September bus trips. Dona- tions were made to Bryanston Church and the Paul Grose Fund. Carman Hodgins chaired the program. A sing song for Easter and spring was en- joyed followed by two readings by Betty Hodgins "Who Works" and "A Farmer's Last Will and Testimony". Carman Hodgins tried a few AMMIIMMF humorous jokes. Mrs. Edith McPher- son showed slides of her- trip to England and Scotland. _ Mrs. Jean Donley showed slides of her suger bush, shanty and activities - around maple syrup times.
