gram. Musical accompaniment was
provided by Sis Jean Hodgert.

tor in the Sovereign Grand Lodge
which is the highest branch on the

Branch of the Order Chevalier Ernie
Chipchase and Lady Olga were
recognized in the audience.
Jay Campbell was formally in-
troduced and addressed the group
and described some of the intricacies
of weather forecasting. Jay -is a cer-
tified meteorologist and is recogniz-
ed by the Government of Canada. He
has been employed by CFPL TV since
1981. He described some of the factors
building which the fraternities occupy
the upper floor and the Hopper -
Hockey Furniture Store the lower
area.
It is interesting to note that the Ex-
eter Town Hall and Trivitt Memorial
Anglican Church were built the same
year. '

cellent music for the remainder of the
evening. During an intermission the
draw was made for the Share- the
Wealth project. Emerging as winners
were Mrs. Rick Sinnamon, Exeter 25
percent winner, Jack Urquhart, RR
1 St. Marys, 15 percent winner and
Percy Noels, Exeter 10 percent
winner.
Everyone appeared to be enjoying
themselves and many expressed the
wish that the fraternity make plans
for another celebration next year.
Truly an event of Fraternal Friend-
ship was enjoyed by all present.

Homemakers pick co-ordinator
At the regular monthly meeting of
Huron Town and Country
Homemakers held at the O.M.A.F. of-
fice in Clinton, Bev Brown was hired
as co-ordinator for the home support
program.
Her office will be in the
Homemaker's building on Victoria
Street in Wingham.

result of the new integrated program.
Plans were made for the board of
directors to be in attendance - at
Ellison's Travel Show in Clinton on
April 2. Proceeds of the travel show
are to be donated to Town and Coun-
try Homemakers.
Jean Young, executive director,
reported that the fund raising cam-
paign that started in the fall and ex-
tended into the new year netted just
over $13,000.00.
The board of directors were very
pleased and thanked all donors and
businesses that bought ads for the
placemat, that were distributed
throughout the county at the beginn-
ing of the campaign. .
Helen Underwood and her commit-
tee announced final plans for the an-
nual meeting and banquet to be held
in Hotmesville on April 14. MPP Joe
Cordiano (assistant to the minister of
Community and Social Services) will
be guest speaker. Door prizes will be
offered and a draw will be held for
the handmade quilt and four dinners
at Robindale's.
Rebekahs honor deputy
'Pride of Huron Rebekah Lodge held
a banquet at Exeter United Church on
Wednesday evening in honor of
District Deputy President Sister Lila
Smith with a good attendance.
Sister Marie Fydenchuck announc-
ed the last euchre. party would be
April 8.
Plans were made to cater to the
District past grand meeting to be held
at the Lodge hall on April 8.
It was decided to donate money for
prizes for the top girl and boy; and one
for the women's division at the Exeter
fall fair.
Birthday greetings were sung for
Sisters Marie Broom, Jean. Johns,
Helen Webber, Vi Coates, Aldeen
Skinner and Evelyne McAllister.
Brother Norm Whiting reported on
the Speak Off at Clinton. D.D. Sister
Lila Smith had a very interesting
message.
Glenna Tripp showed slides of her
visit to Thailand which were
excellent.
