Stan Connelly, president, and
Barney Goldsmith, Campaign Chair-
man, of the Huron County Chapter of
the Heart and Stroke Foundation of
Ontario, thank all area chairs and
canvassers for their efforts during the
annual campaign for funds in
February. Although all money is not
yet in, the goal of $55,500 should cer-
tainly be reached, an increase of
$6,000 over 1986.
Some $2,500 of this money is Huron
County's commitment to the Robarts
Research Institute in London. The
Robarts Research Institute will be a
major research centre in the Pro-
vince whose purpose is to search out
cures, not only for heart and cir-
culatory disease, but also to improve
immunology techniques (critical in
organ transplants) and to address
Juvenile Diabetes and Altzheimers
Disease.
The Chapter also appreciates the
excellent coverage given by your
newspaper during the campaign and
thanks you for it and the residents of
Huron' County for their generous
donations.
Sincerely.

Incidentally, he probably uses
brown peanut butter and orange
cheese spread. Why not- colour
margarine one of those colours if its
natural colour isn't edible?
itis mention-oftheAlberta traitors
doesn't compare at all. As far as I
know they aren't being sold with a
"made in Ontario" label.

Dear Editor,
After reading Syd Fletcher's col-
umn in last week's paper, I have the
feeling that he, like many others, is
missing the point that the milk pro-
ducers are trying to make when they_
ask that margarine 'not be coloured
the exact shade of yellow that butter
is naturally.
What they are trying to do is pre-
vent margarine from being sold as
butter in stores and in restaurants. If
everyone was honest there would be
no need for the action, but sellers
have been prosecuted for passing but-
ter off as margarine. Would he like to
buy 59 cent margarine with a butter
label for $2.59?
