Area 4-H groups
continue on lessons
by Laura Dralsey
The Crediton Drop-ettes held their
fourth meeting March 28. We began
with tire 4-H pledge. Then we did roll
call. After this we discussed when our
next meetings are to be. We finally
decided they will be held April 11 and
April 16.
The meeting was on how to do laun-
dry and put the clothes away proper-
ly. We also discussed how to sort
clothes and what temperature to
wash them at. Another thing we
learned was how to pre -treat stains
and what to use.
We ended our meeting by mending
and discussing our achievement pro-
gram. It is entitled "Every mother is
a working mother".

Roll call was "How many loads of
laundry does your family use a week,
and what to do with the garments we
brought that needed repair.
Then we discussed a name for our
club. We decided on the "Single Sur-

eight steps of laundry and went on to
repairing our garments.

He spoke and showed his slides on his
Junior Farmer exchange trip to West
Germany. He spent a few days in
West Berlin crossing through the
famous wall into East Germany for
a day's sight-seeing. He toured the re-
mains of the concentration camps and
saw the mass burial grounds.
He came away thinking how for-
tunate we are to live in a free coun-
try. Also included in his slides were
views of the Alps, castles and chur-
ches. Lunch was served by the
hostesses. The evening concluded
with the draw which was won by Bev
Delbridge.

Review emergency
health services
The Huron and Perth Emergency
Health Services Study Committee has
been conducting a comprehensive
review of emergency health services
in the counties for the past eight
months and now seeks public input.
Some of the areas studied were --
hospital emergency department ser-
vice; training of personnel who pro-
vide emergency servies; the
availability of ambulance services;
emergency communication systems
such as 911; and the need for an air
ambulance service.
Information has been acquired
• through questionnairescompleted by
physicans, hospital administrations.
emergency room head nurses, am-
bulance services, police forces, fire
departments and municipalities and
townships.
To complete the picture, the Huron
and Perth Emergency Health Service
Study Committee invites interested
members of the public to submit com-
mentary on any aspect of emergen-
cy health care. in the Counties of
Huron and Perth. To be considered,
the submissions must be written,
signed and received by the Huron and
Perth Emergency Health Services
Study Committee, 105 Shipley Street,
Clinton, Ontario NOM ILO by 5 p.m.,
Wednesday, April 15. 1987.
