ches. Lunch was served by Heather
Jackson and Leanne Erb. Press

Charters.

Spring is in the air and oh what a
beautiful feeling! It not only feels and
looks like spring, but we officially
welcome spring this Friday. And to
tell you honestly, Queensway can't
wait! Anyways, on with the reason
we're here - Queensway news.
On Monday the ladies from Hensall
'United Church came over to run our
weekly bingo sessions. It was a very
enjoyable afternoon visiting, while
playing our favourite game.
Then on Tuesday morning the
Queensway Auxiliary met at
Queensway;for their March meeting. •
We welcome new members with open
nems -so if you're interested please
give us a call and get involved! --
Tuesday afternoon our weekly
church service took place with Rev.
Kenneth Knight delivering this
week's service. Rev. Knight was ac-
companied by Joyce Pepper on the
piano.
Wednesday morning was filled with
healthy exercises for everyone. Then
in the afternoon choir practice was on
the agenda. Our choir hadn't met in
a while, but by the guiding hands (or
vocal chords) of Carol Gascho and
Joyce Pepper on piano, we sounded
pretty good, if I do say so myself!
Our movie of the week was shown
Thursday morning. This week's film
was called "Adventure to Katman-
du". This film showed us an hour's
worth of life/customs and highlights
of several different countries. It took
us on a mini -vacation around the
world with all our expenses paid.
Friday afternoon it was time for
music fun. This program was a
preliminary warm-up for our big SI.
Patricks Day dance on Saturday.
Speaking of our St. Patties dance,
it was tt'uly a success. But to make an
event like this so special a lot.of good
people have to be a part of it, and
believe me, we certainly weren't
short in that area. To begin
Queensway would like to send out a
hearty thank -you to the Sarchell
Band, who played good 'ol Irish songs,
as well as some of our favourite tunes.
It truly was a hoppin' good time,
thanks to these wonderful folks who
came in to share their talent with us.
We'd also like to thank the Hensall
Public School children who came over
to help us with the afternoon
festivities. All of you wete'a tremen-
dous help and we thank you.
Well that's it for this week. Before
we go, we'd like to wish everyone a
very happy St. Patricks Day, and
may the luck of the Irish always be
wit;t you.
Egmondville.
