Beaker Farm Equipment
in business for 55 years
A number of new models will
feature the spring lineup of farm
equipment at Becker Farm Equip-
ment Limited at its two area locations
'in Dashwood and on Highway 4 at the
south end of Exeter.
Vice-president Bob Becker says the
new lines are Steiger tractors, new
Case International combines, seed
drills and tractors.
The new combine is the 1600 model
axial flow rotary. Bob Becker com-
ments, "Case International was one
of the first with a rotary combine. The
new mhdel has fewer moving parts
and has increased horsepower. This
is probably the one item that really
makes us stand out from the
competition."
Case International purchased the
Steiger company in December of 1986
and the new four wheel tractors bear-
ing that company name are expected
to arrive at Becker's shortly.
The new Case IH grain drill also
ideal for soybeans has the unique
feature of a newly designed press
wheel.
The new 200 series tractor. with
horsepower capacity from 18 to 31 two
and four wheel drive models is set for
a complete line of attachments
available at Becker's including snow
blowers, mowers, loaders and blades.
Case International and Cummins
Engines have joined forces in produc-
ing a CDC diesel engine which is
already being used in two tractor
lines and some industrial equipment
by Case IH.
Becker's also are franchised
dealers for Case Uni-loaders. Short
lines carried by Becker's include
Kongskilde culivators and plows,
Hardi sprayers, Vicon tillage and hay
equipment, Overum plows and fer-
tilizer and seed drills, J and M gravi-
ty boxes and the Horst wagon line.
Also available are a full line of Cub
Cadet lawn and garden equipment
ranging from push lawn mowers to
large riding machines and garden
tractors in all sizes.
Computers are being installed to
link up both Becker locations and
later in 1987 they will be on-line with
the Case computer network.
After 55 years of continuous ser-
vice, Becker Equipment remains one
of the leading farm equipment dealer-

a New Tractor
in Your Future?

If you're fighting time and weather to get your fall field

two and go see your nearby Hesston dealer.
Walk around a Hesston tractor, kick the tires and ask

all models. It sure could make a difference in whether
you get your fall tillage done before winter sets in.
