• Bello. We -at Queensway hope your
week is going well. We've been very
busy with__several.. interesting -ac-
tivities at Queensway, and we'd like
to share them with you right now.
On Monday, our week began with a
great game of bingo with the help of
the Kippen United Church ladies,
which made the- afternoon extra
special:
Tuesday morning it was time for
exercising once again. Then in the
afternoon we had our weekly church
service with Rev. Bob Sinasac. who
delivered to us a very enjoyable ser-
vice. Rev. Sinasac was accompanied
on the piano by Phillipa Steckle.
In the evening we had the pleasure
of once again welcoming the Christian
Reformed Singers who sang
beautifully several of our favourite
hymns. It was a very relaxing and en-
joyable evening.
Wednesday afternoon brough us to
one of our favourite activities; Fun
and Games. This month, however, we
had' the Zurich Mennonite Church
ladies come in to share the fun. After
the games, we enjoyed listening to a
few poems, then the singing of a tew
songs.
Thursday morning we viewed our "
'movie of the week' which was called
"The Mitt".- It -was a little boy who -
realized the love of his mother and the
real joy of giving. It was very
entertaining! -
Arts and Crafts were on the agen-
da for Thursday afternoon. This ses-
sion was run by a group from Hensall
Public -School: Together; the -students --
and our residents got into the St.
Patricks Day spirit by developing our
bulletin board for the month of
March. It was very rewarding as well
as a fun afternoon.
Friday afternoon we had the
pleasure of welcoming the second
group from the Hensall Public School
who took part in "The Sharing of
Stories". The students had several in-
teresting questions concerning the
'days gone by'. Everyone had a ter-
rific time. learning about yesterdays'
memories.
Quote of the week: "Your liberty to
swing your arms ends where my nose
begins.' - Stuart Chase.
