Thill tennis club will continue to pay
$500 for that facility and the pool ren-
tals remain unchanged at. $35 per

While the $55 -per hour for ice time
was approved, Mrs. Chapman final-
ly succeeded in having the committee
consider some recommendations for
a rental fee and guidelines on non-
prime ice time.
Mrs. Down appeared to be less suc-
cessful in having the board set a
policy regarding the charnging of ren-
tals for use for the auditorim for ban
quets such as the SHIN IS athletic club
and the academic group.
She noted that those groups, which
were not charged last year. were not
under the board of education as such
in the deal whereby the schools and.
reccenlre share facilities at no cost.
"Students 'have to learn to pay for
what they get," she suggested.
However, Mrs. Whiteford said the
-cooperative deal -was -primarily bet=
ween the school principals and (he rec
stall and not the hoard of eduction.
Mrs. Chapman also noted there was
"more than meets the eye" in the'
amount of equipment and shared use
of facilities that goes on between the
schools and the ret centre.
