as well as the year 1986. Let the fun
begin! Speaking f fun we've been
having fun, especially in the past
week, to say the least.
On Monday we added to our
Christmas atmosphere with our,own
ielf-made murals which unavoidably
'tad a Christmas theme.
Tuesday morning brought us
visitors from the Hensall Public
School Choir, who came over to visit
and sing for us the season's favourite
carols. Thank you, students, for com-

Mr. Cowan held this week's church
service Tuesday_afternoon. it was a
delightful service, as we shared
stories, and sang carols.
Wednesday morning we got the
chance to go over to the Hensall
Public School to get a preview of the
children's Christmas Concert. It was
a super morning, as well as very
entertaining for all of us.
Wednesday was our annual -
residents' Christmas party. It was an
evening filled with Christmas cheer
as well as song, and a special visit ,
from old St. Nick himself. It was a
thrill to visit with Santa as he passed
out his special packages to everyone.
This night also marked a historical
happening for Queensway. The
residents' Christmas party marked
officially t(te Volunteer Auxiliary's
first special event, and it was a super
sucess. Thanks very much ladies!
The next evening it was t'a for the
Hensall Legion Christmasrogram;
The event was a smashi success
and enjoyed by all. We would like to
send out a warm thank you to the
Legion for putting on such a special
evening for us. Queensway would also
like to thank George Mathonia and
group for sharing their musical talent
with us, as well as the Men's Choir
under the direction of Mr. Al DeHaan.
Thanks, gentlemen, for making our
evening very entertaining!
To finish our busy week we had our.
exercises bright and .early Fridays
morning. In the afternnon it was time!
for Men's Hour. the gentlemen spent
an enjoyable afternoon, visiting and
becoming friendly competitors with
several of our board games.
Well that's it for this week. Have a
safe and super holiday, and we wish
