IRVIN RADER Doshwood The Dashwood & Area Business Association met Monday evening. Discussion on various subjects took place. Dashwood History books are still available at Doug and Nancy's store as well as Boyle's store. Ted Van Rompaey made two wrought iron stars to go on each end of Dashwood. Dashwood WI Dashwood Women's Institute mel Tuesday at 6:15 at the Horseshoe diner for a delicious turkey supper. Mrs. Emil Becker welcomed everyone and demonstrated how the 12s of December can appear in the shape of a star. Following the business euchres were discussed. They will be held January 14, 28, February 11 and 25. The regular meetings will be held in January in the evenings. Court whist was played with win- ners, Mrs. Elaine Deters. Mrs. Mar- - tha Weigand and Mrs. Flossie Willed. An enjoyable time was had by all. Those in charge were Mrs. Aldeen Wolfe, Mrs. Gertie McCrae and Sher- rie Stade. Personals Paul and Susan Rader, Ben and Robin were Sunday visitors with Mary Rader. Howard and Elaine Deters and Elizabeth attended the World Junior figure skating championship at the Kitchener Auditorium. It was most enjoyable. Mr. and Mrs. Holton Veitch, Lon- don and Mrs. Mary Hewins of B.C. were Wednesday evening dinner guests of Ethel Copeland. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stephen and family, of Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Stephen 'and family of Oakville and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ballard and family, Mississauga held their family Christmas dinner at the home of their father Mr. Rea Stephen. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robinson visited their grandmother Mrs. Albert Bickell at Ritz Villa in Mitchell, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Les Fairbairn, Lon- , don were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Davis, Sunday. Thursday of last week Mr. and Mrs. Harold Davis and Mrs. Lloyd Hern of Exeter visited their aunt Mrs. George McGavin, Seaforth. Rev. SOCIOLOGY GRAD — Ken Eagleson and sons Jamie, An- drew and Michael are pleased to announce the graduation of their wife and mother, Ruth Ann, at the University of Western On- tario's fall convocation October 31, 1 ith her degree in Sociology. Ruth Anne is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell King, Exeter, and is currently on the teaching staff at McCurdy School, Huron Park. nitrglla By MRS. TOM 1<OOY_ Santa Claus paid his ennual visit to Centralia and Huron Park, Sunday. The parade with 15 floats was led by the Stephen Township fire truck. Can- dy was handed out to the children and ended K ith a gathering at Huron Park Rec Centre. Communion services will he . observed next Sunday, December 14 with Rev. Brian Elder of Crediton taking the services at both churches at the ususal time. Tom and 1 were guests Sunday at a family dinner at the home of Mr. and Howard MacDonald.
