Queensway news
A very warm hello from
Queensway! We've had a super week
of activities, and here they are at a
glance.
On Monday, November 17, we en-
joyed another fun -filled afternoon
playing bingo and singing hymns.
With help from the Bethel Reformed
Church ladies it was a terrific time for
everyone.
-Tuesday morning it was again time
for our Ceramic Club. Lillian Baker
came in and volunteered her time to
show us what ceramics is all about.
Thanks, Lil.
For our weekly church service on
Tuesday afternoon, we had the
priviledge of welcoming Rev. Rick
Hawley to Queensway. On Tuesday
evening the Christian Reformed
Singers made their monthly visit to
Queensway to entertain us. Thank
you for making our evening that
much more special.
Our Movie of the Weck on Thursday
evening was called "The Golden
Age." It took us back in time to see
the beginning of the racing car era.
We saw many sizes, shapes and
speeds. It was incredible to see how
far we have come!
Fri. Sat. Sun
Nov. 28 Nov. 29 Nov. 30
Finally, on Friday afternoon it was
again time for our Baking Club. This
months' recipe was rice krispie
squares. They turned out great, if I do
say so myself!!
To close, I would like to announce
that the second annual Spruce Part
will be coming up on December 1.
Family, friends and staff are all
welcome to come in from 7:00 p.m. to_
9:00 p.m. to help us celebrate and
decorate for the upcoming holiday
