MR. AND MRS. JIM LOVIE
Catherine Anne, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Gerald Lynn of RR2
Lucan, and James Alan, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Carman Lovie,
Grand Bend were united in mar-
riage on August 16, 1986 at Lucan
United Church. The ceremony -
was officiated by Reverend Keith
Brown. The maids of honour
were Cheryl and Bonnie Lynn,
sisters of the bride. The
bridesmaids were Cassie Lovie,
sister-in-law of the groom and
Janet Gi'mour, close friend of the
bride. The best man was Randy
Lovie, brother of the groom. The
'ushers were Ston Lovie, brother
of the groom, Daryl Gill, close
friend of the groom and Gerry
Lynn, brother of the bride.
Flowergiris were Sarah -Rae and
Holly Lovie, nieces of the groom.
A trio of Cheryl and Bonnie Lynn
and Patti Mawson, friend of the
bride, sang "My Only Love,
"Wedding Prayer" and "A Love
Until the End of Time':, 'accom-
panied by Mrs. Helen Stanley.
The reception was held at the
Lucan Community Centre. Jim
and Catherine are now residing
in Shipka.

Seniors in Exeter
Choose new slate
The Exeter senior citizen club held
their meeting in the Legion Hall
November 4. President Ruby Beaver
welcomed everyone including several
visitors.
After the opening exercises a mo-
ment of silence was observed for
Remembrance Day and the president
read the poem "In Flanders Field."
Sympathy cards were sent to Pat
and Gladys Skinner and Eli and Mary
Brown; Thinking of You cards to
Mike Dzioba and Eli Brown and Get
Well cards to Sam Bowers, Clara
Harris and Gladys Simpson. It was
reported Elsie Jory and Mickey
Bridges were in hospital.
Chas Tindall reported on the non-
profit apartment housing for seniors
committee.
The Christmas banquet will be in
the Legion Hall Monday evening
December 1 at 6 p.m. Tickets can be
obtained from Ruby Beaver, Alice
Bowen or Ruth Skinner.
It was reported 14 seniors attended
the Zone Fall Rally at Dungannon and

Linda Mary Vanneste and David
Woodford Johnson were married
on Saturday October 25, 1986 at
St. Boniface Roman Catholic
Church in Zurich by Father Paul
Mooney. The bride is the
daughter of Marcel and Simonne
Vanneste, RR 2 Kippen and the
groom is the son of Robert and
Jean Johnson, Montreal. Wed-
ding music was provided by
Christine and Lorraine Kriski of
Welland. Maid of Honour was
Mimi Van Haeren, Guelph, friend
of the bride. Bridesmaids were
Judith Johnson, Montreal, sister
of the groom and Brenda Van-
neste of London, sister of the
bride. Best man was Gabriel
dePuyjalon, Montreal, friend of
the groom, and guests were
ushered by David Vanneste, Kip -
pen, brother of the bride and
Donald Maziade, Montreal,
friend of groom. Guests attend-
ed from Sacramento, California;
Calgary, Brockville, Toronto,
Woodstock, Springford, London,
Guelph, Port Elgin, Exeter and
Duval, Quebec. Following a din-
ner and reception at Oakwood
Inn, Grand Bend; and a Honey-
moon in Venezuela, Linda and
David Johnson will reside at Dr.
Penfield Ave. Montreal, Quebec.

panied by Dorothy Bullock on the
piano; duet by Marlene Matfiers and
Eric Kintz and mouth organ selec-
tions by Ella Frayne accompanied by
Marlene on the piano.
The meeting closed with God Save
the Queen and a social time spent
with lunch served by committee in
charge.

Carolyn Lee Ford and Randy
George Parker exchanged mor-
riage vows Saturday, November
8, 1986 at Hensall United Church
with Rev. Wilbur Rogers of Elora
officiating. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne
Ford, Hay P.O. and Mr. and Mrs.
George Parker, Hensall are
parents of the groom. The maid
of honour was Mrs. Cheryl
Legault, Exeter and bridesmaids
were Mrs. Cathy Whiteford, Ex-
eter; Mrs. Cindy Taylor, Hensall
and Mrs. Judith Parker, RR 3, Ex-
eter. The best man was Rod
Parker, Hensall and guests were
ushered by Rick Parker, RR 3, Ex-
eter; Marvin Taylor, Hensall and
Phil; Legoult, Exeter. The
flowergirl was Kim Taylor, Hen-
sall and ringbearer was Ryan
Parker, RR 3, Exeter. The
organist was Mrs. Belva Fuss and
soloist was Mrs. Betty Jinks, both
of Hensall. The couple will reside
in Hensall.

ficiating. Susan is the duaghter of
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Fouts, London
and Gary is the son of Mrs. Nancy
Smith and the late James Lloyd
Smith, Dashwood. The maid of
honour was Nancy Hogyor, Lon-
don. Bridesmaids were. Sandra
Fouts, London, Susanne Smith,
Dashwood and Jennifer Roy, Lon-
don. Flowergirl was Adriane
Becker, London. The best man
was Victor Remple, Dashwood.

Dashwood. Ringbearer was
Stuart Shaw, Kingston. After
honeymooning in Toronto and
Niagara Falls, the couple is now
residing in London.
