How many of us maintain it? These are only a few Health Tips you will learn TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEART Heart disease affects all of us! It is the leading cause of death in Canada, accounting for one-half of all deaths in 1982. Many risk factors influence heart health. Some, such as increasing age, a family history of disease, or being male, can't be changed. But others can be reduced or eliminated by changes in personal lifestyle and medical check-ups. It is a good idea for adults to have their cholesterol levels checked. Those with high levels will be prescribed a cholesterol-lowering regime by their doctor.
