SYSTEMATIC TRAINING FOR
EFFECTIVE PARENTING (S.T.E.P.)
THE HURON CENTRE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
will be offering a parent education program.
Topics to be discussed include: understanding your
child's behaviour and misbehaviour, improving com-
munication, encouraging children and developing
confidence as a parent. This group is for all parents
who are interested in learning more about and/or
improving their relationship with their children.
LOCATION: South Huron. Hospital, Exeter, Ont.
DATES: Every Thursday evening from October 16 to
December 1 1 , 1986.
TIME: 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
FEE: $9.50 covers the cost of the parent manual.
REGISTRATION: Limited to 16 participants
INSTRUCTOR: Jane Gillespie, M.Ed.
(A similar program for parents of teenagers will be
held at a later date - registrations are accepted now.)
