delight then homeward bound they
stopped in Frankenmuth for a

The weather was quite favourable
with very little rain.

I am sure everyone is pining for a
few sunny days and would be thankful
for any bonus ones we might get.
On Sunday Carl Mills of Exeter
visited with Mrs. Jessie Brock and
brought along his bagpipes. Mrs.
Brock, being a native of Scotland,
thoroughly enjoyed the music as did
many of the other residents. We were
pleased to have the Christian Reform-
ed choir present a musical program
on Tuesday evening for the residents.
Despite the miserable weather,
residents seem to be busy at pool
games, shuffleboard, projects in the
hobby shop and whatever else pleases
them. We thank Mrs. Meda O'Brien
for coming in to play for the sing -a-
long on Thursday morning, also Mrs.
Connie Lewis and John Warner for
their help in organizing and directing.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery
are extended to Ray McKinnon who
is a patient in South Huron Hospital,
Exeter.
Bingo was played on Friday even-
ing followed by refreshments.
We are thankful indeed, for the
many donations of materials and ar-
ticles for use in making crafts in the
hobby shop.
Rev. Bob Sinasac conducted the
Sunday evening chapel service

off through the hi -weekly bingos
which took place at the Zurich arena
every other Thursday night, it has
been decided to continue with this fun
and worthwhile project to help raise
money for other groups in town, such
as the figure skating club, minor
sports organization, the Lions Club
and Chamber of Commerce, who in
turn will all help out at the bingo
(each their turn) and some of the pro-
fit will be split evenly between the
four groups with the rest going to the

be great for everyone!
Special thanks should be given to all
those who worked so hard at these
