qhart was second at 101, just one
stroke better than Roy Hunter. The
net championship was won handily by
Ken Herman at net 67, with Michael
Veal second at net 70 and Vice Presi-
dent Andy DeBoer third at 74.
Nearest the pin honours went as
follows: Mike Cushman on two; Jack
Fuller on three; Don Currell on four;
Dan Heywood on six; Blair Hearn on
seven; Jack Fuller On eight and Ran,
dy Gilfillan on mine. Long drive on
hole number one was captured by
Dave Frayne, while on number five
Mark Cronyn was the victor.
In the "skins" competition, Don
Heywood, Mike Cushman, Jack
Fuller, and special guest Mike
Williamson emerged winners on holes
one, two, three and four respective-
ly. Brad Murray won holes five
through seven, while Don Hord round-
ed out the winners by birdieing hole
eight.
The 1986 match play champion was
decided in favour of Brad Datars who
beat Jamie Gaul in a close fought
final. Well done guys, and thanks also
to Bob Forrest for keeping this cham-
pionship near schedule.

tests and the final squad will then
tackle Lucan in the Irish arena on
Tuesday at 8:15.
Games against Clinton and Mitchell
will follow at Huron Park next Friday
and Sunday.
A couple of rookies helped in the
scoring against the Bulldogs on Sun-
day afternoon.
St. Marys minor product Dan Nairn
had two goals and an assist, while
local minor puckster Jim Lewis not-
ched the winner in the third period.
Veterans Steve McIntyre and Jeff
Pfaff had two goals and an assist
each, while scoring in single fashion
was Dave Skea.
Newcomer Jeff Reid picked up two
assists and singles went to veterans
Steve Gould and Brent Dawson.
Coach Dave Bogart gave three
goalies one period of action each.

shutout in the first frame, while Mar-
ty Merner had five goals against in

Campbell has announced the club's
pre -season exhibition schedule.
The Mohawks playing in the On-
tario Hockey Association Senior 'B'
category this season will play two
senior 'A' teams in home and home
series.
Their first game is in Owen Sound
on Sunday September 28 at 7:30 p.m.
with the return match at the South
Huron Rec Centre on Sunday, October
5 at 7:30 p.m.
Two games against the Chatham
Maroons will go in Exeter Saturday
October 4 at 8 p.m. and Wednesday,
October 8 in Chatham at 8:30 p.m.
The first regular scheduled games
for the Mohawks are October 17 in
Hillsburgh and back in Exeter oc-
tober 19 with Tavistock supplying the

It took four defensive players to finally collar him on this romp.
