Lucan Revival Centre
Rick Thornton conducted the Sun-
day morning service. Mr. Doug
Butler read I Corinthians 1:10 before
he and Mrs. Marti Butler sang Live
in Harmony.
Bill Davies stated it is time for
funeral services for all the oppression
the devil had put on God's people. Mr.
Davies said he hates the devil's work
with a holy violence. The devil's
kingdom of darkness is doomed to
failure. When a person confesses he
is weak, sick, and helpless he is listen-
ing to satan and not to God. The Bi-
ble says to resist the devil and he will
flee from you.
Mr. Davies said too many churches
are sleeping. Holding something
against anyone is sin as it is un -
forgiveness. Unforgiveness will hold
one from personal revival in God.
Pray for God to cleansing and
forgiveness for healing of your spirit.
In Matthew 11:12 Jesus says His
kingdom suffers violence. The
kingdom of heaven is assailed by
satan. Satan has snatched God's peo-
ple since Adam and Eve sinned
Sunday evening Rick Thornton
again conducted the service. Bill
Davies stated the Lord has given each
of us only one opportunity to live for
Him. Because Christians are to be the
bride of Christ, they must be ready
when Jesus come for them. Christians
are to infiltrate and influence the
world. In John 17:11-15 Jesus prayed
for His followers in the world to be
protected from satan. In whatever
circumstances Christians find
themselves God has placed them
there, under His protection, to be
witnesses for Him.
In verse 20 Jesus prays for each one
who has His message wherever they
are. Christians are influencing society
by their testimony. They are the bride
of Christ, and on earth Christ's am-
bassadors. Dare to stand up and be
counted for God. Nothing can happen
God does not allow.
