T -A photo Best performances at Ironwood this year The holiday weekend must have provided several of Ironwood men's golf members an important oppor- tunity to fine tune their games, as club competition Tuesday evening was marked by some best individual performances of the season. Dave Holtzmann shot 36 to narrow- ly maintain his winning streak in "A" flight in low gross on countback from an unlucky Randy Evans. Close were Don Gifford and Jack Fuller at 37, with Fuller winning divisional low net at 31. Randy Evans teas again relegated to runnerup at net 32, one stroke better than Don Gifford. "B" flight was won with a four over par card of 39 by Norm Whiting on countback from Bill Gilfillan. It seems likely that Norm will soon jurnp to "A" flight from his season beginning in ''C" flight.
