Sy MRS. HUGH MORENZ
Shipko
Don and Mabel (Guenther) Fraser,
have returned home after a three
week honeymoon trip to the Eastern
Provinces. They toured Upper
Canada Village near Kingston, and

family in Amherst, Nova Scotia, spent
two days in Charlottetown P.E.I.,
travelling around the Cabot Trail to
Cape Breton Island, Halifax and
Peggy's Cove.
They enjoyed a beautiful scenic trip
home by way of New Hampshire, Ver-
mont and New York state. They had
several boat trips on their holiday but
the most memorable was the one
from Port Aux Basque,Newfoundland
to North Sydney, Nova Scotia.
On the new M.V. Caribou boat, car-
rying about 1,200 people, a hydraulic
malfunction caused an upper ramp to
come crashing down to the lower
deck.
All were stranded on the boat for 24
hours after waiting six hours to board
it. No one was injured. This was an
