MR. AND MRS. GORDON HEYWOOD
A quiet and pretty wedding
was solemnized a1 the home of
Mr. G.R. Bedford, Huron Street,
Exeter, on Thursday, July 20,
1916 when his second daughter,
Evelyn Bernice was united in
marriage to Gordon Clifford
Heywood of Usborne Township.
The ceremony was performed by
Rev. J.W. Baird of James Sl.
Methodist Church.
Following the ceremony was
a dainty wedding breakfast. Mr.
D.8. Sanders, the groom's uncle
took the wedding party for a
motor trip as for as London,
where they were also accom-
panied by Mr. Clark Fisher and
Miss Ella Baker. On their arrival
in London they look the electric
car to Port Stanley where they
enjoyed a lovely honeymoon.
The Heywood's farmed until
1960 on the second concession of
Usborne Township, when they
retired to Exeter where they still
reside. Six sons were born to
this happy union: Dalton of In•
gersoll, Eldon and Laverne of Ex-
eter, Jack of London and Bev of
Windsor. Their fourth son Ray-
mond passed away3 years ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Heywood enjoy good health and were able to attend
along with several friends and relatives, a family dinner and evening
at the home of their grandson, Bob and Kathy Heywood.
Best wishes from all your family and friends.
