Little we knew when we woke that morning, The sorrow the day would bring. The call was sudden, the shock severe, To part with one we loved Ao dear. You didn't have time to say farewell, Or for us to say goodbye, You had gone before we realized, Any only God knows the reason why. We think of you in silence, And often speak your name, But all we have are memories, And your picture in a frame.
