Ready to wave their hand -printed, flags are Jason Erickson, Vicki Dawe, Jacquee Brown, Joshua Becker and Tony Riley. Stewardship was the theme of the June meeting of Woodham UCW held on June 10 in the church basement with group 3 in charge. Mrs. Ted Insley played quiet, music before' the meeting. Mrs. Gerald Brintnell opened the worship service with a reading "Stewards of the Earth". Mrs: Glenn Copeland gave a reading "Loving the Earth". Mrs. Don Brine led in prayer followed by the scripture by Mrs. Glenn Copeland. Mrs. Gerald Brintnell read a short reading on Stewardship. Mrs. Ted In- sley gave a reading "Our Lifestyle is Destroying our Surroundings" follow- ed by a reading by Miss Jean Copeland "On the Environment". Mrs. Gerald Brintnell led in a prayer of confession. Miss Copeland thanked Mrs. Brint- nell and all who had helped with the worship service. Miss Copeland read a poem "The Package of Seed." The roll call was taken, the minutes read and approved and the correspondence was read. Mrs. Don Brine gave the treasurer's report and reported another successful barbecue. Miss Copeland thanked everyone for all their help at the barbecue. We were reminded of the Campsite Expertence at Camp Bimini on June 17. It was moved to donate 51,000.00 to the church. Miss Copeland told about the tours that had been taken at the Museum of Indian Archeology in London. Mrs. Glenn Copeland conducted a workshop when we cut up greeting cards and put the pictures into scrap books for the hospital and nursing homes. Jean Copeland Take any three numbers in sequence, then reverse them and subtract the smaller from the larger. The result will always be 198. For example, 123 would become 321; subtract 123 from 321, and the answer is 198. Try it. s,s,w - II • 1n CROWD PLEASER - The mini tractor pull organized by Dave Turner (centre) drew a large crowd at the Hensall Spring Fair.
