The Huron Park Stingers won their
second straight game in the Tri -
County Ladies fastball league with a
decisive 10-0 Sunday victory over
North London.
The Stingers salted away the win in
the very first inning with a six'run ral-
ly. A triple from the bat of Laura lee
Nickles drove in three runs in the
opening frame. Carol Windsor also
tripled and She y Nickles and
Heather Smith singled while Willie
Dimmer andtiancy Ogg drew walks.
In the Stingers fifth Sheila Penhale
and Nancy Ogg were on with walks,
Willie Dimmer tripled and Sherry
Nickles singled to power a four run
outburst.

winning pitcher forthe Stingers. She ;
faced y two batters more than the
five inning minimum allowing one hit
and a walk recording eight strikeouts.
The Stingers were in Tillsonburg
last night, Tuesday and their next
home game will be Sunday, June 15
at Huron Park at 4 p.m. with Ilderton
supplying the opposition.

CR(' Productions of Clinton produc-
ed another exciting day of ATV rac-
ing near St. Thomas June 1. Sixty-five
ATV riders from all across Ontario
raced for $1,000 purse, cash prizes and
trophies. in the OATVA sanctioned
event.
The special attraction was a 50 ATV
race for children. The youngest rider
was four years old while the oldest
was seven.
