plate with three base hits. Paul
Gilmour was next with a pair of two -
baggers. Brian Horner cracked out a
triple and single, Walt Parkinson
checked in with a double and single
and Don MacDonald contributed a
duo of singles.

The Exeter Express gained an even
split in two Western Ontario Great
Lakes senior league baseball games
this week.
Friday, the Express dropped a
close 13-12 to Strathroy and Sunday
they scored a 10-4 victory over the Ex-
eter juniors.
The Friday loss in Strathroy came
in an 11 inning contest. The home
team tied the score in the bottom of
the ninth and after a scoreless 10th
shared by Steve Pearce, Don
McDonald, Pete Heeney and Brian
Horner.
In the Sunday win over the Exeter
juniors, Paul Gilmour went the first
five innings on the mound for the Ex-
press allowing four runs and five base
hits.
Dave Atthill went a scoreless two
innings giving up a pair of hits. Bob
McDonald and Dave Shaw followed
with an inning of hitless pitching each
to sew up the victory.
At the plate, Dave Shaw led the Ex-
press with three hits including a home
run and double. Greg Hern checked
in with a double and single and Walt
Parkinson chipped in with a double
and single.
Adding one hit apiece were Kevin
Hern„ Brian Horner, Will Sentjens,
Pete Heeney, Doug Fairbairn and
Paul Gilmour.

Jim rode his Hully Gully Honda to
a second place win in the first Moto, .
in which he was being challenged by
the third place rider right up to the
checkered flag.
In the second Moto, Jim got a poor
start as he was seventh coming out of
the second turn. He rode hard and
was able to be in third as the flag
dropped.
Jim had total points for a third
place for the clay. His next race will
be the' at the C.N:E'.
