NATIONAL PHYSICAL ACTIVITY WEEK - May 24 - June 1
has been developed to celebrate Canada's growing
appreciation of the benefits of physical activity.
Mayor Shaw has proclaimed THURSDAY, MAY 29th as
"PHYSICAL ACTIVITY DAY "
In EXETER
To start off the day, we want EVERYONE to wear their SNEAKERS
or RUNNING SHOES - ALL DAY-- NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO OR WHAT
YOU DOl
At the office, at school, on the job site (safety permitting)
or simply at home, the idea is to wear them all day long to get
in the mood for "PHYSICAL ACTIVITY DAY."
Keep those sneakers on and point them in the direction of the
Rscr•ation Centre where the following activities will take
place on Thursday evening:
