Church News
Rev. Robert Matheson was 1n
charge of the regular church service
on Sunday morning. We sang "Tell
Me the Stories of Jesus" and the
minister told the children a story en-
titled "Keeping His Word." The
organist Miss Agnes Bray accom-
panied the choir when they sang
"Love, Love."
The scripture was read from Acts
15:1-2, 22-20, Revelation 21: 10, 22-27,
John 14: 23-28. The sermon was entitl-
ed "Where aro we to iind peace?"
A Mother's Day tea and bake sale
Saturday May 10 at 2 p.m. in Thames
Road church. Any donation of baking
will be gratefu ly accepted and may
be left at the church or pick up may
be arranged through Marilyn Rohde
or Shirley Kerslake the explorer
leaders, all welcome to come.
Next Sunday is Mother's Sunday
and the Sunday School members are
asked to sit with their parents as a
family. There is no Sunday School.
