Dr. Ntum introduced Rev. D. J.
Emerson, of Kitchener International '
Gospel Centre, as guest speaker. Rev.
Emerson's church is actively engag-
ed in support for Christianview Bible
College. Rev. Emerson stated, from
John 15:16, that all of God's children
are ordained for specific things. This
scripture states that Christians are
chosen, ordained, aid are to bring
forth fruit. Where does this anointed
ministry begin? First, in salvation
shelter's that produces fellowship with the
Lord. Submitting to God's- will will
bring one's philosophy in line with
God.
The world's philosophy is to lie,
steal, or kill. The philosophy of
religion showed in the story of the
Good Samaritan in the actions of the
priest and the Levite. The philosophy
of the Good Samaritan was to answer
the call of the needy. This is the need
today to have a commitment to the
Lord to help others. The Samaritan
way is the Jesus' way to help others.
Rev. Emerson read Isaiah 40:39-41,
stressing waiting on the Lord to have
strength. He closed encouraging the
Bunny Bundlestudents to wait on .the Lord.

To be continued
Judy Darling with Holly, Kevin and
Kyle were the welcome committee
Sunday morning at Lucan United
Church. Linda Froats read the scrip-
ture lession, and Chris Schatzler took
children's story time. She told the
boys and girls about little Johnny who
felt sad because he didn't have a
Grandma nearby like his friend
Peter. But then he "adopted" a
Grandma and brought joy to her as
well as to himself. The choir's lovely
anthem, "Lead Me Lord" brought a
message of faith and encouragement
to the congregation.
"To Be Continued" was Mr.
Brown's sermon theme for the mor-
ning. Early in His ministry, Jesus
outlined His mission to the world. This
task of His He handed on to His
disciples to continue in the power He
gives. We too are called to announce
God's good news to those who are
either physically or spiritually needy,
to release those who are captives, to
give sight to the blind, and to set at
liberty those who are bruised.
Jesus emphasized that in response.
to such a ministry God is always at
work to meet the needs to those who
respond in faith and obedience. Mr.
Brown challenged the congregation to
recognize the privilege and respon-
sibility of engaging in this ministry
which Christ has given us.

but by His sacrifice on the Cross,
made it possible for us also to receive
and express His kind of love.

Rev. Roger Mason Sunday morning
invited Mrs. Lynda Ropchan, and
Mark Alward and Marie Alward to
come to the front to be welcomed in-
to membership of the church.

Gagnon, from St. Catharines, to be
the guest speaker. Rev. Gagnon spoke
from Ecclesiates 4:9-12, stating
"Somebody needs you". This scrip-
ture says two are better than one,
speaking of friendship: Sometimes we
get lonely, depressed, as Elijah did.
God came to him. You could be just
the one somebody needs to turn to.
Matthew 18:19 assures that if two
agree in faith it shall be done. it is im-
por,ant to make yourself available to
agree with someone in faith.
Rev. Roger Mason again introduc-
ed Rev. Evert Gagnon as the speaker
Sunday evening. Rev. Gagnon
ministered from I Kings 8:1-11. Let
the temple be filled with His glory.
The enemy must first be con-
quored. In James 4:1, and 11 Corin-
thians 4:8 we read of wars, conflicts
and fightings. One way to get.rid of
these is to justgive up. The scripture
way is to defeat the enemy to ex-
perience and enjoy peace.
