Well, your regular Golden Glimpses
writer has gone on a two week vaca-
tion. She decided to visit her two sons
in Calgary, Alberta: We wish her a
good vacation and some warm sunny
days.
The weather has taken a turn for
the better, which is very much ap-
preciated by the contractor who is
building the auditorium. They are
progressing quite well.
Monday evening was movie night.
The films shown were "Storm Boy",
a very nice story from the coast of
Australia and "Enduring
Wilderness".
Tuesday morning exercises were
heldunder the direction of Mrs. Cathy
Shantz our adjuvant.
The St. Peters C.W.L. St. Joseph,
Ont. sponsored the April birthday on
Tuesday evening. Entertainment was
provided by the St. Peters Folk choir
concisting of Harriett Vanderburgt,
Deanne Miller, Lee Ann Ducharme,
Shannon Regier, Jackie LaPorte and
Reta Vanderburgt, plus some
readings done by Mrs. Mary Lou
Denomme. Birthday . gifts were
presented to the residents having a
birthday in April.
This is courtesy of the Home Aux-
iliary. Everyone present was invited
to a lunch and coffee served by the
C.W.L. A very happy birthday should
go to Mr. Ira Geiger, Mr. Wellington
Riehl, Mrs. Alice Thompson and Mrs.
Genevieve Ducharme. We regret
Mrs. Ducharme is still hospitalized in
London.
On Thursday morning singing prac-
tice of our Home choir was held. You
readers must hear them sometimes.
How about coming to the home for a
visit on a Thursday morning between
10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. They real-
ly sound good.
Bingo, the residents favourite past -
time, was on Friday Night, followed
by refreshments.
