The quick reactions of French

fire.
Firemen sprayed and sprayed as
the entire school became engulfed in
the black haze and smelled of heavy
melting plastics. Damage was confut-
ed to the south hallway and gym-

evaluated, the south end of the
building has been blocked off from
daily use. All activities in the school
gym have been cancelled for one

have been cancelled Friday also.
They were complaining of the terri-
ble fire smell throughout the building.

determined, but a faulty wall heater
was believed to have started the ex-
