The Tribe will now meet Hillsburgh in a best -of -five semi-final. In Thornbury, the locals bombed the host squad 12-2, edged Meaford 3-2, and after losing to Shallow Lake by a 3-1 count, came back to last Flesherton 6-0. Jason Heywood ended the tourna- ment as Exeter's top scorer with 11 goals. He scored four in two of the contests. Fred Godbolt added for tallies and two each came off the sticks of Brad Thompson and Fred Steciuk. Notching one goal each in the four games were Paul Charrette, Mltrk Brintnell and Ryan Lindenfield. Charrette and Allan McFalls pick- ed up three assists each and getting a pair were Jeff Lingard, Brintnell, Darren Kints and Mark Lynn. Help- ing out on single markers were God - bolt, Steciuk and Lindenfield. Richard Phillips was in the nets for all four contests. Against Petrolia, the locals opened the scoring after 46 seconds of play and then added their fourth marker with under two minutes left in thecon- test to get the tie.
