IN MEMORIAM --
DESJARDINE — In loving memory of a
dear brother-in-law and uncle Byron Des-
jardine who passed away January 14, 1970.
Memories are treasures no one can steal,
Death is a heartache no one can heal.
Some may forget you now that you're gone.
But we will remember no matter how
Lovingly remembered by Lewis
families. 3'
HUNTER — In loving memory of a dear
wife, mother and grandmother, Myrtle,
who passed away Jahouarryy 15, 1965.
Never more than a thought away
Quietly remembered everyday,
No need for wads, except to say
Still loved, still missed in every way. 3c
Lovingly remembered and missed by
husband Hubert and family.
MURRAY — In loving memory of a dear
mother and grandmother Ethel Murray,
who passed away January 19, 1982.
As time unfolds another year
Memories keep you ever near
Silent thoughts of times together
Hold memories that will last forever. 3c
Sadly remembered by daughter Rena
and family Brad, Cheryl and Rod.
ROWCLIFFE — In loving metriory of a
dear husband, Hector Rowcliffe who pass-
ed away January 12, 1977.

I shall remember thee. 3'
Sadly missed by wife Molly.
SKINNER — In loving memory of a dear
wife, mother and grandmother, Gladys
Earlen Skinner who passed away one year
ago, January 17, 1985.
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to he,
So He closed His arms around you,
And whispered 'Come to Me".
You suffered much in silence,
Your spirit did not bend,
You faced your pain with courage,
Until the very end.
You tried so hard to stay with us,
Your fight was all in vain,
God took you to His loving home,
And freed you from all pain. 3'
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed
by her husband Delmer, Edward and Gail
Skinner, Frances and Frank Kints and
grandchildren.
SPRUYTTE — In loving memory of my
dear wife, Julienne; mother and grand-
mother who passed away January 10, 1984.
Thank you for the memories,
That are yours and mine atone,
For they recall so many special moments
That you and I had known.
You were someone I thought more of,
As each day came to an end.
You were my dearly loved wife,
But best of all, my friend.
We made our vows together,
Until death do us part,
But the day God took you from me,
My whole world fell apart.
Sometimes I think I'm dreaming,
For I can't believe it's true, -
That I can go on living,
When I. no longer have you. - - •
But when I :ease to think of you,
It will be when God takes me too. 3'
Sadly missed and never forgotten by
husband Jerry and Frieda and
grandchildren.
WEiBERG — In loving memory of our
dear parents and grandparents; Fred who
passed away January 21, 1983 and Flossie
who passed away November 23, 1961.
When we step beyond life's gateway,
As our loved ones now have done,
We shall find a land of beauty,
With a never setting sun.
We shall greet old friends and new ones.
In the land where all are blessed,
And we'll meet beyond life's gateway,
All the ones we loved the best. 3'

Employment
practice study
Acting on a recent recommendation
of a study committee, the Middlesex
Board of Education plans to examine
its employment opportunities and
identify strengths and weaknesses
with respect to equal employment op-
purtunity and human rights
compliance.
If the education ministry approves
the plan and agrees to cover costs, the
board will engage a qualified person
or firm to conduct the study.
The action comes as a result of the
work done from December 1984 to
November 1985 by a committee to
study personnel qualifications and
promotional procedures.
The committee, through a com-
prehensive questionnaire, gathered
and examined information from 604
Board employees- all members of the
teaching, clerical, custodial,
maintenance, and administrative
staff.
It is expected that the study will,
among other things, •
-determine the numbers of qualified
applicants for various categories of
positions;
-identify key jobs which offer growth
and future oppotunities over the next
5 to 10 years;
-approach equal employment oppor-
tunities in the same way as any other
change process;
-monitor the process and the results;
and
-ensure that the policy statement is
disseminated to all personnel at all
levels.
