at Cromarty

Choirs from Hensall, Exeter and
Cromarty Presbyterian Churches
entered Cromarty Church during the
singing of 0 Come All Ye Faithful for
their annual carol service on
December 22. The Rev. Kenneth
Knight was in charge with Carol Ann
Scott at the organ.
The Nine Lessons of Christmas
from Genesis 3, Genesis 22, Isaiah 9,
Micah 5, Luke 1, Luke 2, Matthew 2,
and John 1 were read by John Scott;
Cromarty, John Baker, Hensall, Lori
Dalrymple, Tom Laing, Cromarty,
Paul Hoggarth, Hensall, Danny
Elliott,Cromarty and Rev. Knight.
The scriptures were interspersed
with Christmas carols and choir an-
thems. Carmel choir, Hensall, sang
As Lately We Watched, Cromarty,
The Dream Came True, and Caven,
Exeter, A Christmas Anthem. The
three choirs joined together to sing In
The Stillness of the Night.
The prayers of the People vere
given y Roberta Templeman, Jim
Glasglow, Sherri Elliot, Tracy
Quance, Larry Gardiner and Eva
Laing.
Following the service, lunch and an
hour of fellowship was held in the Sun-
day School room.
Shut-in boxes were packed at the
home of Mrs. T. L. Scott Thursday
afternoon, then delivered to Mrs.
Elizabeth Ramsey, Mrs. Jean Miller,
Mitchell, Mrs. Lila McKaig, Strat-
ford, Mrs. Grace Scott, Seaforth, Mr.
Bill McCurdy, Clinton, Lloyd Mac-
Dougall, Hensall, and Gladys Allen,
Cromarty.
