ON THE BEACH Ready for summer fun, here are Dave Sheppard, Sandy Balmer, Peter Dodd and Joy Hogg. they were all modelling fashions at the Huron Country Playhouse Fashion Show on Wednesday. SOPHISTICATED LADIES — These models were showing formalwear suitable for summer weddings, garden parties and teas, at the Huron Country Playhouse on Wednesday. The fundraising fashion show covered the gamut from these formal dresses to casual clothing and beachwear. From left are Vicki Pfaff, Sandy Balmer Beth Jean, and Joy Hogg. BEST AGAIN Exeter was declared town of the year in the under -5,000 population class by the Welcome Wagon organization, repeating its 1983-84 accomplishment. Cathy Seip was declared Ontario hostess of the year in the some category for the third consecutive year. ART SHOW Tracy Prest was one of the S.H.D.S.S. students help- ing to set up an art show on Thursday at the Old Town Hall in Ex- eter. The show was port of a mini art festival this week. There were two shows. one at 12:30 and one at 8.30. t DOOR PRIZE DRAW Tory McKenzie and Mory Harvey draw the tickets for the door prizes at the Huron Country Playhouse fashion show fundraiser. Tory was the show s narrator. and Mary the show s coordinator. 1 BUDDING ARTISTS Brenda Wilson. Tracy Prest and Patty O'Toole were setting up the art exhibit in the Old Town Hall that four area high schools participated in. The exhibit. held Friday. Saturday. and Sunday. was an opportunity for the community to view the work of our budding ortis$s
