and Kay Cockwill and Alelvin and
Gertie Stade drove to Gananoyue and
took a three hour boat cruise around
the Thousand islands and up the St.
Lawrence River where they saw Kate
Smith's former home. Then to Ottawa
where they took a two hour bus tour
of Ottawa. Then to the parliament

Residents of the village were shock-
ed Thursday to hear of the sudden
death of I eonard Wilson. lie has been
a resident of the village for many
years. The funeral -was held on Satur-
day at Trivitt Memorial Church Ex-
eter. There are no known survivors.
Next Sunday June 16 will be the last
Sunday of Sunday School at the Cen-
tralia United Church for the summer.
It will resume again in the tall.
Mrs. Carol Mills held a very suc-
cessful craft sale on Saturday and
Sunday at her home on Portland St.
She is very artistic and has twiny
lovely articles for sale suitable for
gifts. also wedding doral
arrangements.
