This is a Junior Book (Club tor boys and girls in grades 5 to 8. 1t t; tun time tor the children and meets in the library every other Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. At the first session held on April 18, seven enthusiastic children attended and held a lively discussion on the books «ritten by Norma Klein. Norma writes real witty books with alive characters. Each child took home one of Norma Klein's books to read before the next session. The boys and girls will discuss books by dif- ferent authors at each meeting and those who attended last week are in- vited to come back on May 9 and bring a friend. The pre-schoolers storytime held each Friday at 1 p.m. is a huge suc- cess in the new library Un Wednesday, April 24 Mrs. Joan McDonald and Mrs. (fila Dixon at- tended a storytime workshop at the Hatnpton Court Motel in London. Personals Mrs. Vera Guenther and Barbara Guenther of London returned from an enjoyable two weeks in the Barbados. Mr. and Mrs. Van Tuckey, Trenton visited with Mr. and Mrs: Bill Becker. Nancy returned to Trenton for a short - vacation. Librarian Bernicelloyle reports the library books were exchanged and a catalogue of films is available for any organization to order for their meetings. A large at- tendance was on hand to make the final closing vote with Rev. Keith Brown, assisted by Rev. Ed Hancock. Presbytery Representative, in charge. Mrs. Sheryl -Carroll. pianist. Rev. Derrick continued on the theme the "True Vine" and spoke on keeping the commandments. Service next Sunday is planned tor 8:45 p.m. The chord was tastefully decorated with spring flowers. A happy open house was held Satur- , day afternoon for Angela Korrevaar at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Martin Korrevaar. Her sisters and nieces displayed the wedding gifts and served rcreshrnents. Her mother received guests in a beautiful rose dress.
