Dear Sir
i would like to apologize for in
sinuating that the fashion Slow put
on by the Anglican Church was held
in the church when in fact it was held
in the high school auditorium. This
was a misunderstanding on my part
Ifowever, i would still question the
appropriateness of a church put t ing
on a fashion show in our self
sufficient society it is easy to lose
sight of our mission to the "outcasts"
of our day. Jesus went to the sick. the
lepers. the tax -collectors and the
poor. When the Pharisees asked
Jesus' disciples why Ile associated
with sinners Ile replied "it is not
those who are healthy who need a
physician. but those who are sick' 1
cid not come to call the righteous hitt
sinners" Mark 2:17.
i would challenge Christians to re-
examine Christ's mission while on
earth (summarized in Luke 4:181 and
to make every effort to have that
same purpose today.
