New store opens
Blessings Unlimited is now open for
business from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you
find used clothing or other articles
you no longer need, just drop off your
things at the former home of Mrs.
Lerina Rose on the corner of Main St.
W. and John Street.
The new business is, under the
direction of Pearl Gingerich, Gerry
and Mary EllenZielman, Jane Lloyd
and Paul and Heather Gingerich.
They could also use any clothes
hangers you don't need.
This is a non -denominational com-
munity project and everyone is
welcome tel drop in at anytime.

Winner of the K of (' (5289) share -
the -wealth jack pot worth $108.00 was
Linda Arnold of Dashwood.
Communion
Congratulations to Nicole
Beauchamp who received her First
Holy Communion on Sunday as others
in her grade' two class have been
making theirs at various times. A
group communion will be held on May
5.with Sunday at 9:00 Mass.
Penetential Service
On Sunday evening March 24, a
Youth Penetential Service was held at
St. Boniface Church, followed by ac-
tivities in the school afterwards.
A parish Penetential service was
also held on Tuesday with five priests
present to hear. confessions in
preparation for Easter. The same ser-
vice was also held at St. Peter's
parish on Thursday. (St. Josephs ).
Personals
Phil and Patty Laporte returned
home last Wednesday after a restful
two week holiday at West Pahn
Beach in Florida where they visited
with their aunt Viola Ducharme, who
is also returning home soon. While
away Patty's parents. Burns and An-
na Ratcliffe of Delaware took care of
the children.
Jim and Theresa Burr and family.
London. spent Sunday with their
parents. Mrs'. Dolly Jeffrey at St.
Joseph and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Burr at
the Maple Woods Apts.
]toward Mac) and Jean Klopp
returner] home safe and sound on
Saturday aft ern spending a lovely six
week vacation in Phoenix, Arizona.
They also visited with a sister-in-law
in Sun ('ity.
Steve and Mary Ellen Gingerich ar-
rived back at their home last Wednes-
day at RR Zurich after spending the
winter months at their other home in
Arcadia Florida, (Sunny Breeze Har-
bour o since January, and were among
other relatives in that area.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery
is extended to Debbie Overholt (nee
Bedard I who is a patient in Universi-
ty Ilospita1 due to an appendix opera-
tion. Also to Edith Rohner who is in
Victoria Hospital and Marcella
Dietrich in Exeter Hospital Russell
Desch is a patient in Clinton hospital.
Saturday and Sunday visitors with
Ken and Sylvia Nlittelholtz and little
Jennifer were Ed and Cecile Mit -
telhollz and two children. Exeter and

The United Church Ladies are spon-
soring an Easter Tea and Bake Sale
on Saturday. April 6 from 2-4 p.m. In
their church basement. Everyone is
welcome!
Paper drive
Thursday, March 28 is the regular -
monthly paper drive. Paper will he
picked up at the curb by the Men-
nonite Boys Club "Torchbearers"
beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Lions :Anniversary
Don't forget to pick up your tickqts
for the Lions club 40th Anniversary
dinner and dance to be held at the
Zurich arena on April 19. $25.00 per
couple.
Diabetes Canvass
Zurich captain Eleanor'Riley of the
Canadian Diabetes Association would
like to thank all the volunteer can-
vassers and those who gave to this
worthy project. She is happy to an-
nounce that a total of $9-30.00 was col-
lected in town.
St. Boniface ('W1.
The C.W.L. ladies met March 19
with 27 members present. The parish
dance on March 17 was veru suc-
cessful and the president thanked all
who helped in any way.
Many thanks also to Marie Gelinas
for opening her home enabling us to
finish quilting the Bean Festival quilt.
The World Day of Prayer held on
March 1 in the United Church was
well attended. Eighteen members of
the league were present.
Sister Florian announced she will
be leaving for her new position at the
Mediatte House in London after
Easter. She will be greatly missed in
the parish, but we wish her much suc-
cess and happiness in her new
endowment.
