WILLIAM ROHDE Thirty-eight people attended the Fellowship Group meeting on Sunday evening. Mrs. Bill Rohde welcomed everyone and gave the thought for the day. God Can Transform Your Tragedies into Triumphs. Mrs. Elson Lynn read the Scripture Matthew 21:1-11 and the Meditation and led m prayer. Mrs. Rohde read a poem "Easter" and gave a reading a "the Meaning of Easter". Music was supplied by Lorne Elford on the piano, Cliff Jaques and Bill Rohde, violins and Doug Stephen the accordion and mouth organ which was much enjoyed. Elson Lynn introduced Pastor Koss and Mrs. Hargreaves, Kintore. Ross showed pictures of the Passion Play in Oberamagau, Austria. They also visited Germany, Switzerland, and Italy on their recent trip. Thepictures were much enjoyed. Ross and Coyla were thanked by Rhoda and Elson presented them with a small token. Lunch was then partaken of which brought a very meaningful evening to a close. Church service Rev. Robert Matheson was in charge of the Fourth Sunday in Lent Church Service Sunday morning. The responsive reading was Psalm 137. The children's story was entitled "How We Must Learn". The Scripture Lesson was read from 2 Chronicles 36:14-23, Ephesians 2:1-10, John 3:14-21. The sermon was entitled "Expressions Of Love". Israel in need of liberation with dif- fering theologies as to the reason for the Babylonian Exile. Chronicles held Jerusalem as cen- tre of the Jewish faith high view of prophets with a priestly perspective. Chronicles an alternate history of Judaism from the time of Adam us- ing selected source material. Personals Tonya Kiehl visited last week with her sister Jackie Kiehl, Stratford.
