Pay of Prayer at
Craigholme, Friday
By ALICE DICKENS
The Ailsa Craig United Church
Women met Tuesday evening at the
new time of 7:45 p.m. in the church
basement.
President Mrs. Don Clark opened
the meeting with a reading "Bring the
little children" taken from the Sunda
church bulletin.
To get the full meaning of the
words, Mrs. Don Scafe in charge of
the worship, asked us to read hymns
283 and 291. -
Following this, Mrs. Bill Sutherland
took as her scripture reading Matt
13:1-13, followed by a story "Seeds
Under the Snow."
During business conducted by the
president, reports were given by the
secretary and treasurer. The budget
was dealt with and accepted.
World's Day of Prayer will be
March 1 in the Craigholme Nursing
Home auditorium and March 12 we
are planning to have the Ethel Elliott
Evening Auxiliary of the
Presbyterian church with us.

munity Outreach committee enjoyed
a rewarding time when they reported
visiting•several sick and shut-ins of

ly "touched" in being remembered
with a bouquet.

joyed several games followed by a
