sisters Mrs. Campbell was a member of
Hensall Rebekah Lodge and Exeter Lodge
of the Order of Eastern Star. Also surviv-
ing are 44 grandchildren. and 66 great-
grandchildren. Rested in the Hensall
Cbapel of Michael P. O'Connor Funeral
Home, 188 King Street. Hensall until Tues-
day. December 24, then to Carmel
Presbyterian Church, Hensall for funeral
and committal service at 1 p.m. with Rev.
Kenneth Knight officiating. Temporary en
tombment with interment later in Exeter
Cemetery. A Memorial Service under the
auspices of Hensall Rebekah Lodge was
conducted on Monday evening at 9 p.m_
Followed by a Memorial Service under the
auspices of the Order of the Eastern Star

Mt. Carmel concert
-Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School
presented a beautiful Chrislmas con-
cert. involving the entire student
body. It Was an ambitious undertak-
ing under the direction of Mrs. Laurie
Kraftcheck, who teaches the choir,
and the children rose4o Ulf challenge.
To accommodate all the parents and
other relatives who wished to attend,
there were two performances. one on
Monday afternoon and the.other on
Tuesday evening.
The children in Grades one to bur
put on a "Christmas Fantasi,"
presenting a colorful array of.Jloy
soldiers. . elves, brownies. dancng
snowflakes: singing evergreen trees,
dolls. and indians. Special characters
were the Sugar Plum Fairy. Merry
Christrhas, Jack Frost. a ballerina.
Jack-in-the-box. Santa Claus. and If
course, the narrator. The practice al
of them had put into their songs
dances, marches and lines. was ap-'
parent tei even those of us in the.back,
who could hear the words quite clear-
ly. The beautiful costumes and sweet
cherub faces certainly did present a
pretty Christmas picture.
The Kindergarten class. clad in
their pyjamas, sang a number of
songs, remembered most of their
lines, and stole the parents' hearts
as little angels of that age usually do.
The junior choir performed some
lovely carols, many of them new Co
the audience and then the senior choir -
began their program.
Grades 5 toll presented a Christmas
-Cantata, a series of original carols
tracing the - journey of Mary and
Joseph from Nazareth to Bethlehem.
