Service of lessons and carols was
held at St. Paul's Church Sunday mor-
ning. The rector told a short story let -
Ween the singing of each carol to the
children who each in turn hung a sym-
bol on the ('hristmas tree.

('hristmas with carols and a pageant
read by the congregation. Janet
()'Veil portrayed Joseph and gave a
verse. Brenda O'Neil as Mary. Ken-
neth Carter - a shepherd also recited
and :Arden Carter and Jesse Cunn-
ingham as sheep. Following the ser,
vice the children received treats and
everyone enjoyed a coffi a hour.

"What Christmas Haunt to Johnny...
The intermediate class presented a
'skil entitled "('hristmas Candles."
Crystal MMus. Erin Coward, Alvin
McNicote and 'Trevor Taylor sang
several songs. "The Day Christ
Came" a skit, was presented by the
young people. -
The choir sang several songs. Mrs.
Wilkinson thanked everyone. "here
Comes Santa (Taus" was sung by
everyone and who should appear but
Santa. All the children and even some
adults had a chance to sit on Santa's
knee and talk to him.
The Christmas Eve service will tie
held at Thames Road Church at a
p.m.

brought in a caterpillar for the class.
It made a coccoon. On Mondays
Derick waters it. When we have film
Chad or Danny 'or Wanda put it•on
their desk. Chad puts the caterpillar
on his desk most of the time.

Enriching Eliperiences - Enrich-
ment is fun because.1 like studying'
about dinosaurs. Grades 1.2 and Igo.
Only some people from these classes
go. We go there in Primary Choir
time, sometimes. Sometimes we go to
the staffroom and sometimes we go
to Mrs. Atthill's room. I like it
because I (earn things I never knew
before..

Music, - Tuesday, Wednesday and
Friday, Hoon) 9 goes to music. Mrs.
Thornton has a brown piano. Mrs.
Thornton is a nice teacher. At the
beginning of the year Mrs. Thornton
gave Room 9 a music book.

:Activity ('entre - We can read a
book and when she says we can get an
activity then we play. We can play
with it. We can get another activity if
we want.

Room 12 people have been %yoking
on ('hristmas things. We haw -.teen
doing lots of story writing and picture
making. Tonight December 171 we
are Austrian dancers in the Primary
play at our Christmas program. Some
of us are yodelling and- dancing and
some .are Christmas tree dancers.
Derek is our Christmas tree. We each
'are marking a• lsimas book. Last
week we saw a rformance called
"A Christmsa for Carol". Our school
has a big Christmas tree by the office.
We sing Christmas carols and hear
Christmas stories everyday. Room 12
people say. •Ilave a Merry
Christmas".
('hristmas Cheers - At school we
make lots of interesting things like
folders, wreaths, trees and puzzles,
but we still have to do pu 1 s. On my
folder 1 put Christmas tirees. (leather
put stockings. We made,the wreaths
out of cardboard. We used round con-
tainers to make the shape of the
wreath. We made the Christmas trees
out of coloured paper. We cut the
throe papers into a tree shape. Then
we glue the trees altogether.
