Reeve Bill Mickle, Deputy -Reeve Lossy Fuller and Councillor Dorothy Chapman re- mains intact for the coming term. However, the latter three were selected by virtue of their chairman- ship of the other three committees. and not their elected status as in the past. Chapman remains as chairman of the police committee. J public works committee. 1n a slight revamping of the com- mittee flow chart, Chapman and Mickle become the council represen- tatives on the employee relations committe by virtue of their respective chairmanships. - The new flow chart, as outlined by Shaw. is intended to provide more communicaiton at all levels of the local government. Councillors Gaylan Josephson, Chapman and Morley Hall join Mickle on general government, while Ben Hoogenboom, Peter Snell and Tom Humphreys are on the public works committee. The police commit- tee remains intact. Humphreys and Fuller were nam- ed to the cemetery board and Reg McDonald was re -appointed as one of the citizen representatives. The other returning members are Olga Davis and Bob Simpson. • Hoogenboom and Josephson are on the planning advisory committee and the only other newcomer is former council member Don Winter. Chapman and Snell will be the town's new representatives on the South Huron rec centre board of management.. Phyllis Johnston fills the vacancy Created by the resigna- tion of citizen appointee Caroline Merner. Mickle and Hall are on the .economic development committee and it has been expanded slightly to include Niall Straw, Jean Papple, Dave Urlin, Bill Gilfillan,•Gord Nichol and Mike Soldan.
