Members went back to Bryanston
Church for a social afternoon. Audrey
McRoberts welcomed everyone to the
meeting and read a poem, Christmas
Joy.
Happy birthday was sung for
December Birthday's- Hope
McRoberts, Bill Hodgins, Ada Smith
and Ruby Bernard. Happy anniver-
sary was sung to Hector and Isabel
Robinson, Ada and Victor Smith and
Audrey and Elliot McRoberts.
A donation was to be given to Salva-
tion Army. Former members who are
shutins are to be remembered at
Christmas. Gladys Davis was
chairlady for the program. Frances
Mardlin and Hope McRoberts sang a
duet "Silent Night".
Gladys Davis gave a reading. She
also read the story "The Night before
Christmas" with several members
taking part. Clarence Lewis played
several Christmas Carols on his violin
accompanied by Muriel Cobleigh at
the piano.
Remainder of afternoon was spent
playing games. Euchre winners
Audrey McRoberts and Harold
Talbot, Ethel Lewis and Percy
Rhame, Clarence Davis ( playing
lady's card) and Milton Hodgins.

and Fred Trudgeon. Lost Heir win-
ners Beth Buchanan and Victor
Smith. Scrabble winner Dorothy
Trudgeon. Lucky cup winner Mabel
Needham.
Ruby Burnard and Chester
McComb were the recipients of the
two Christmas wreaths donated by
the Optimists.
A delicious lunch of cookies and
Christmas cake was sere d along
with a c►up of tea and a sociarhalf hour
enjoyed. Committee for this meeting
was Clarence and Gladys Davis, Lela
Abbott anti Hope McRoberts. Next
meeting to be held Januar} 8th.
