The hosts took a 5-0 lead in the first

"The guys did not hustle and Mt.

manager Cam Stewardson in
reference to the loss.

Snaafi Dancer
heads to Lucan
Snaafii Dancer, a horse that created
headlines two years ago when he was
sold as an untried yearling for a then -
record $10.2 million, is on his way to
Lucan.
Veterinarian John Brown has
bought a 25 percent interest in the son
of Northern Dancer and he will begin
his career as a stallion in February
at Brown's Spring Farm.
Snaafi Dancer was purchased at
the 1983 Keeneland yearling sale in.
Lexington, Ky., by Sheikh Mohamm-
ed bin Rashid al Maktoum, a member
of the ruling family of the United Arab
Emirate country of Dubai. '
But the horse never justified his lof-
ty price tag..He was beset by a virus
during his two-year-old season in 1984
and was kept back by various leg
ailments this year before being
retired. Sheik Mohammed will retain
a 73 -per t interest in the horse. r
The pure ase price was not reveal-
ed but m t bloodstock experts put
Snaafi Dancer's 1985 value at less
than $1 million. The $10.2 million
record was surpassed last summer
when Robert Sangster spent $13.1
million on a son of Nijinsky 11.
